On Monday, I went off to school
I was looking hot and feeling cool
I walked right up and gave my friends
Invitations for the big weekend

This Saturday I’m having a pizza party
We’ll live it up and just let loose
I’m getting sixteen pizzas and a fridge full of juice

On Tuesday I broke out the broom
And pushed it ’round from room to room
I dusted high and vacuumed low
I used vinegar, water, and dish soap
To wash the windows and the screens
And get the house clean

On Wednesday I went out to buy
My pizza party night supplies
Balloons and ribbons to decorate
Plastic forks and spoons and cups and plates
I got all the stuff for pizza dough
That’s mainly flour and yeast, you know
Some veggies and banana chips
And sour cream to make some dips

On Thursday, time to decorate
Only two days left, I couldn’t wait
I blew up ninety-nine balloons
And spread them all throughout the rooms

Black lights, strobe lights, and some rope lights
All go there in that room
This will be bigger than
What anybody’s seen

Then Pink Martini slows things down
And Blue Man Group can spin it around
Of course I work in my own stuff
‘Cause I just can’t get enough
